The show’s theme song was created by Punk Rock Factory, a punk rock group from Wales who are known for their punk covers of everything from Disney and Broadway tunes to Michael Jackson and Men at Work.
Laurie Lockliear, CEO of Peach Maria Productions, and co-creator of Gamemaster worked with them for SXSW in 2022, when they created a mash-up of nineteen video game themes, titled Round 1, Fight,’ which you can see in the video below.
‘They are wildly creative, extremely musical, and they approach every song with the energy of toddlers on a sugar high!” says Lockliear.
‘We were so inspired by their playful, rockin’ approach to some of our favorite game themes – we decided to create a video press release in the style of old-school Pop Up Videos. The PRF theme song for GM is amazing – but, we’re saving that one until the season starts,’ Lockliear added.
Punk Rock Factory produced the original music video and Lucky Axolotl Creative Studio, and Peach Maria Productions created the Pop Up Video.
